Spiral pipe, also known as spiral pipe or spiral welded pipe, is a low carbon structural steel or low alloy structural steel strip according to a certain helix Angle (called forming Angle) rolled into a blank, and then welded pipe joints made, it can be used to produce large diameter steel pipe with narrow strip.
Spiral pipe is mainly used for oil and natural gas transmission pipelines, and its specification is expressed by outer diameter * wall thickness. Spiral pipe has single side welding and double side welding. The welded pipe shall meet the requirements of hydrostatic test, tensile strength of weld and cold bending performance.
